Story of Stackadoc

Today, missing out on AI is like missing out on the Internet in the 2000s. And being constantly up to date on all the new techniques and tools is almost impossible while still having a job and a busy personal life.Hi, my name is Arthur and today, for studio IA Stackadoc, I'm going to talk to you about the genesis of the Stackadoc adventure!

The story of Stackadoc

After a very wonderful adventure of almost 4 years at ETAONIS, with my friend Charles de Ravel d'Esclapon, I decided to set up a first entrepreneurial adventure, I decided to launch into the creation of a consulting company in Data, with the ambition to create “Start Up” type projects, with greater potential for scale!

2019-2021 - The Coalition.ai project

Information is power and this is even more true in politics. This is what I was able to learn during my Sciences Po years. Based on this observation, I embarked on an adventure of analyzing public data, in particular from the National Assembly and the Senate! The idea was to help Public Affairs professionals save time in their analyzes and systematize their monitoring of legal and regulatory production at the French and European level!

That's when I had the chance to start my collaboration with Mariem Ben Jannette, Florian Breton, Paul Chaumeil and Dorian Burnod! What a great shared adventure, where with late fellow travelers whom we have lost sight of, we were able to develop a first complete SaaS tool for public affairs: search engine in the texts of the production of the law, Mapping of public decision-makers & advanced AI for anticipating legislative changes!

During 2021, we began exclusive discussions with Contexte, the independent French newspaper of political information, in order to join their adventure and grow our technology in the fold of this " scale up" extraordinary media! A big thank you to Jean-Christophe Boulanger for his welcome within this structure.

2021-2023 - Scale and Webscraping- Stackadoc !

After Coalition.ai, I wanted to work on developing Data projects for third parties. The core belief I developed at Stackadoc is that we are a technical team capable of doing difficult things with data. This may seem a little vague. For a major French luxury house, we developed a scraping tool to permanently monitor 250 online resale sites.

The objective for our clients is to obtain a detailed analysis of the implementation of their business plans (are my products well listed on partner sites?), to ensure that promotional content (texts / images ) are available and understand competitive dynamics! With the whole team (Paul Chaumeil, Mariem Ben Jannette, Nahia Gorrichon and Amin Saffar), we built an end-to-end scraping and analysis machine of 5 people, which goes from data recovery to the restitution of the latter for around 100 operators spread all over the world!

I am very proud to say that our data and user interface rival those that have been developed by companies with 20 or more people!

2024 - The adventure of music & AI

One day at lunch, I chat with a friend. I tell him that if I were a millionaire, I would spend my time making music and algorithms. He looks at me with a mischievous look and says: “But what are you waiting for, go ahead!”, plus it’s a growing sector. And as life is good, I talk about it with my coach @arthur de Conihout from JAB, who tells me: "I want to introduce you to someone who is a little crazy, but who is very good, it's is my brother Pierre de Conihout." Dozens of late-night calls between Paris and Lisbon and voila, we launched Synthia, so I will definitely tell you much more in other articles!
